Question:

How should I act during an interview with a bank?

I have an interview for a teller position at a bank tomorrow.

I've never had to be "professionally" interviewed before, so I'm pretty nervous.

What I want to know specifically is what kind of questions will they ask?

Should I act a certain way, since tellers do communicate with customers?

What about body language?

Do they look for someone who is super professional, which I am not? How can I be the most professional I can be?

  1. You'll want a suit and tie.

Shake the interviewer's hand and exchange greetings with anyone else in the room when you go in.

From there, you can more or less play it by ear if you've done an interview before - being 'professional' when it comes down to it is just about treating people with respect and dignity.

If you have difficulty doing that, you should probably look for another job.

  2. 1. Put up your best professional outfit on.

    2. Be firm and pricise at your answers

    3. Show a good knowledge of the bank history

    4. Smile and be friendly.
