Because of my job I have traveled to more than 70 countries. Whenever people who don't know me very well ask me where I have been I don't know how to answer because it obviously takes too long to mention all 70 countries.... What is best to say in that situation? I used to just say I have been to loads of places, too many to mention but some peole think I want to show off, if I say that. So, how would you answer this question?

  1. please tell me how to get a job like yours.-blurey

  2. You might want to just focus on the regions you have travelled to rather than the countries.  For instance, say "I've been to Africa", or "I've been to Asia".  If you have been to multiple regions, you may just want the state the ones you go do the most say "the Middle East", or "South Asia".  Then if people want to know about a specific region, they can ask.

  3. Maybe mention at least the most frequented top 5 countries and the say 'and 65 others' or say 'many...about 70 at the last count'.

  4. Pick a few of your favorites and add "among many others". If they want more detail then go from there. You could also mention regions/continents. Good Luck and have fun in the next 70 countries, you're so lucky!!
