How should I ask a girl to be a model for me?

Girls: If a guy you didn't know came up to you and said you were really hot and asked you to be a model for some glamour photography, how would you feel? What's the best way I can ask without coming across as a freak or something. I'm not a professional and do not have a studio but I'm willing to pay a fee.

She is going to think r a freak. If I were you and really wanted to do this I would just tell her the truth that I am an amateur photographer and to work on my skills I need models to help me. Also tell her its not just girls that you are asking and ask a guy friend to help you out and be one of your 'models' it may sound kind of g*y but if the girl wants to see some of your work you need to be able to show her that you are not a pervert. I do think that it is kinda weird that you are only asking for chicks though. Do you already have males in mind or are you actually a pervert trying ot get us to help you perfect you ploy?

I definitely agree with the person that said you should ask professionally. Regardless of how much you like the girl, you're still doing business with her. So just tell her you like her look and ask her to consider modeling for your photography portfolio or whatever.

You are going to need a portfolio of your work to show that you are a serious photographer and not just a guy who is itching to get her clothes off.

You are also going to need some serious photographic equipment including a really good camera, fill lights and reflectors.

Finally, you need a reason; for example, a freelance photographer who sells to x*x; the market that you target.

If you have all that, then present her with your business card, tell her what you want and what you can do for her.

I would assume you were a creepy pervert.   If you are not a photographer and do not have studio and equipment, then what purposes do you have to take pics of her?

What is on the contract?/ model release form? ( I assume you have one drafted up)

What are you going to do with those pics?

I used to be a model with a big well known agency,   but even before I got signed up with them,  I would never ever just go round to some random blokes house.

All wannabe models will be warned off men like you.

Do you really think you can go up to some girl and say "  I think you are hot?  can I take some topless pics?  I will pay you?"

Get real!  you will probably and hopefully get arrested.

What is your motivation? if you need a model, go to a model, dont approach people on the street. There are plenty of agencies providing models, or ads in the photography mags, last resort you could place an ad in the local paper. Because you want glamour shots, you will need to go through proper routes, otherwise you will be labelled a perv. You cant just go up to women on the street and ask them if they want to strip down for you. Get real.
