and do colleges pay attention to freshman and sophomore years in high school? i desperately want to get into NYU, but my freshman and sophomore grades were not that well. Now I am taking honor classes and improved a lot from the beginning of high school.. I hope it is enough.

colleges dont pay any attention to freshman year, but they do the rest of the years, i would suggest getting an sat study book, you can find them at any bookstore, and dont worry about it cuz you can take the sat several times and every time you take it you will improve your score, a lot. so take it many times.

The best way to study for the SAT is to get practice tests and do as many as you can while keeping track of your progress. You should study 1 to 2 months before the test. Also, read a lot to boost your vocabulary and reading skills. Brush up on math topics that you have trouble remembering.
