How should I bring my lunch to school brown bag or lunchbox?

I have no locker at my school, so I can't keep my lunch in my locker. Last year, I was the only boy who brought a lunchbox to school. I looked like nerd. It was too big, and I couldn't keep it in my backpack. This year I have a lunchbox, which is smaller, and it fits in my backpack, but its like this blue that kindergartners have on their backpacks.

My mom says that a brown bag will leak if I bring it in my backpack. If I have yogurt or water or some other liquid. What should I do? A lunchbox is nerdy but a brown bag leaks.

Plastic bag looks weird, so other options.

lol you remind me of me when i was in elementry school. I always hated carring a lunch box because it resembled a purse to me and im a guy.lol

But what you should do is take really good stuff to school, like chips and stuff so when other kids try to pick on you for not buying the schools food just remind them of the harry lunch ladies.lol thell want something else to eat and thell see your lunch and next week thell have a lunch box too. it works every time.

and trust me you think the shade of blue on your lunch box is the same as the blue on the kinder gardeners is just your immagination. Besides im sure no other kid would think that.

brown bag is the best.  bring a can of pop or a capri sun.

Every one will make fun of you for using a lunch box, if you want to be a cool kid use a brown bag. Brown bag says "pshh I'm just here to eat I could care less about what it comes in" and a lunch box says (with a lisp) " Oh jesus christ, I don't want my sandwich to get bent on the edges"

You could slide a plastic bag inside the brown bag, at least for the leaky things, or a bigger bag (the quart size) as a liner. Look around and see what other people are doing. Liquids belong in a plastic bottle. If you fill it the night before (and leave some air space at the top) and pop it into the freezer, it will be thawed by lunch and nice and cold. It will sweat a little, so wrap a paper towel or napkin around it to keep other stuff dry.

And, there's something to be said for finding and sitting with other people who do whatever you're doing container-wise so it becomes a group thing.
