Question:

How should I buy a pdf from someone online?

Okay so if I use paypal to send $20 to a guy who has agreed to send me a pdf, how can I make sure that I actually receive the real pdf before he claims the $20? And how could he (the seller) make sure I wouldn't receive the pdf but claim it was not what was agreed upon and withhold paying the $20? I know there are escrow services online, but aren't those usually for things shipped with a tracking number (and returnable -- a pdf is not returnable once viewed)?

  1. Check Paypal's FAQ on this, or email their um "support".  (I can't believe I just used 'Paypal' and 'support' in the same sentence.)

Are you sure the PDF is available elsewhere?
