I just moved to Arizona and I have found it kinda hard to clean the p**p off of these rocks? Some times it easy, but others its a mess. And even after i clean out there It still seems to smell. Anyone have an answer for me?

  1. Take your dog for walks three times a day once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once in the evening. How hard is that?

  2. If you can't put a spot with pavers or blocks, like one of the people suggested, maybe you could make a spot where the dog could go, that has some of the black landscape cloth laid down, in a reasonable space, perhaps 4' x 6'. Landscape cloth allows the water to run through, so that you won't get puddles mixed with the doggie p**p and urine. Then you could put some bark or shredded mulch over that and it would not be too hard to scoop the refuse up from that. You could also hose it down as needed. You would probably need to remove the rocks from that area. You could also make only one small spot with grass, if you are willing to water it enough to keep it growing.

  3. pick it up or wash it off gosh it's not that hard

  4. My neighbor had a grass lawn (we all do, its the east coast) but he paved his back yard to be concrete and just sprays the p**p off with a hose. Maybe you could do something like that. If you can pave it, maybe just spray the rocks. But yeah, walking them somewhere with grass would probably be better, even if you have to actively take them out over and over. I guess what is the bigger hassle?

I used to live in arizona so I know the type of rock 'lawns' you mean. But what if you had a patch of sod or dirt for them to walk in and p**p on. A small little patch, wouldn't need grass or anything. You could even then replace the top layer yearly with more sod or something.

  5. How big is your rock? I live in So Cal, and we have sand yards. I have a "scooper" meant for grassy areas, and it is basicaly a rake with a basket. You slide the tines under the p**p (through the sand) and lift it up so that the sand falls out.

You might find it easier to clear part of your "lawn" and let him use that, or even install a small sandbox, if grass wont grow.

  6. if its fresh dog p**p all u need to do is grab ur hose turn it up all the way big and spray it down until it dilutes itself. if that doesn work grab a showel and scoop it up throw it in a bag and throw in trash. as easy as 1. 2. 3. lol. have fun

  7. HOSE IT down..  Get a pressured hose.. and forgetabout it..

  8. pick them up with doggie bags
