How should I decorate my closet doors?

My room is light pink and lavender and my doors are a really ugly off white color and i would like to paint or decorate them. I don't want anything too plain or boring. Does any one have any ideas?

maybe paint it white like really white then splatter light pink and lavander on the doorss! or maybe do something glow in the dark or take a bunch or pictures and cover both door completley

or put a mirror with pics around it?

I'd do a light pink and lavender design:

stripes

dots

squares

waves

hearts

stars

butterflies

flowers

Maybe go with more of a white color for the doors (and any woodwork trim as well) but then get creative with  stenciling on the doors with paint matching the pink and lavender on your walls. Use stencils that match a theme in your room (if you have floral print on your curtains or bedspread then go with similar flower stencils, if you have butterflies or dragon flies or anything else as a theme in your room, go with those types of stencils). If stenciling is not for you, then use the colors from the walls in your room on the doors as well (most doors have raised panels and you can get creative by painting the panels in a color other that the white on the rest of the door). If your doors are flat, like a hollow core door, you can buy molding to apply to the door to give in the appearance of raised panels. If you have stained hardwood floors in your room and if you have the energy, you could strip the doors down to the original wood and stain them to match your floors.
