Question:

How should I do my hair for my wedding?

I want to wear it down or at least partially down. Just to give you an idea what I look like, I have natural light blonde hair. It's pretty long and very fine, so it's difficult to work with sometimes. I also have a very prominent nose, so I want something that will deemphasize it in profile. Any ideas, tips, links would be helpful. Thanks.

  1. I would ask your stylist. She or he will be able to help you get the look you want with the most flattering style. You face shape will be a big player in the style that looks best on you. If you need ideas, get some pictures (www.hairstyles.com) and take them to the salon to show your stylist what you like. They can really help you out!

    Good luck!

  2. If you have long and fine hair (I do to), it doesn't curl easily and loses curl fast. How about if you wear it half up and the bottom wavy. There aren't definite curls, so it won't look tired if they fall out, but will still look romantic and classy. Good luck. You can also talk to a hair stylist, they might have some more ideas or cute clips/etc. to put in your hair.

  3. Because you have fine hair, I would only work with a stylist you know very well because it may fall flat after a few hours, and your stylist would be able to tell you for sure if it will or not.

because of that, you might want to start to think about an updo. The last thing you want on your wedding day is flat curls when you could have gone with a beautiful updo instead.

But your stylist is your best bet to make recommendations on what will work best for your hair type for the whole day. Without seeing you, it's hard to say. And don't worry about your nose! I have a huge schnoz myself, and I'm the only one who ever notices it.

  4. I would definitely talk with your stylist and see what she has to say. But, go with what you feel comfortable wearing. Everyone said I should do something different with my hair for my wedding - I normally wear it down; I tried doing it half up and I didn't like it. So, I wore it down and I loved it.

  5. Ask your stylist's opinion, and go to her for a trial run.  I have dark, thick curly hair and did the same thing--very glad I did!  I'd advise that for everyone of any hair type.

With your hair, perhaps you can do some sort of French twist braid updo with a decorative hair clip or flowers.

  6. I THINK YOU SHOULD WEAR IT DOWN WITH SPIRAL CURLS. WITH BLONDE HAIR IT WOULD DEFF LOOK REALLY PRETTYY :)

    CONGRATS :)
