How should I do my make-up for my first day of HS?

Ok so tomorrow I am starting HIGH SCHOOL!! (YAY) And I am wearing a purple spaghetti top with a black sleeve thingy I wanna know what make-up I should wear with it!?! I have all kinds of colors and I want to look awesome! Maybe like a smokey eye or something.. please help

Keep it simple! You don't want too look like your trying too hard and you don't want a mess on your hands. Make sure you try out any of the makeup techniques you'd like to use before the first day of school. Since you are starting tomorrow you could practice tonight. Going with drastic and heavy eye shadows will make you look overdone (like the smokey eye) and using a foundation that is 10 shades darker than your real color will not fool anyone.

You also want to make sure you are looking presentable for your teachers. You want to impress your classmates but your teachers are the ones grading and helping you when you struggles with topics. This is the first impression they are going to get of you, looking like you are on your way to a party isn't going to give them the best impression. You will want to look clean,polished, and put together.

Try using a good foundation then apply a little bronzer to the apples of your checks and on your chin. Don't know what the apples of your cheeks are? Smile and the part of your cheeks that stick out are considered "the apple". Don't apply too much bronzer, just a few swipes with the bronzing brush will do. Then apply blush above your checks and to the side of eye. This will give the impression of a higher cheekbone. Now your eyes- go with a light brown or black eyeliner. Stick with pencil, a liquid liner can get pretty messy. I would say just line the bottom of your eye, but if you want to get more intense you can line the top too. Apply brown or black mascara and you are ready for the first day of school!

Bring some bronzer, blush, eyeliner stick and lip balm with you. This will help keep your face fresh during the day!
