I made a change to the name of a project I'm working on. The lady I'm working on it with asked in an email, "I thought we agreed it's name would be...". How do I explain making the change without her agreeing and without her thinking I'm making decisions without her input?

  1. You are making decisions without her input.  You can't explain it away.

Edit:  M G, "Explan(ing) that you thought she agreed on it" is a way of deflecting fault.  Nowhere does Reverend J indicate that he presented her with the changes.  He just made them.  Making this statement would not be being honest.

  2. Advise her of the change immediately.

Explain that you thought she agreed on

    it.

If she discovers it on her own, she'll

    think you are making decisions

    without her input.

    Honesty is the best policy.

  3. LOOK HER IN THE EYE AND TELL THE TRUTH, ITS ALL YOU CAN DO SWEETY GOOD LUCK. XO
