How should I format this into my essay?

It's in italics on my paper... I just don't know if this is how I should quote the book. Plus... Should I drop down a line for the quote?

  1. don't put italics

    if its more than four lines in a paper, you block the quote

    never put page, it should be "line being quoted" (Authors last name 22).

    hope that helps...if not, try looking up integrating a quote in MLA format online
