  1. In paris use the metro or  the velib (it is bycycle) 1euro 1heure :)

  2. Gare Nord??? Are you there bc there are 2 stations. The metro  stop get off there  @ Louvre Rivoli is RIGHT there  -- the LOUVRE !  Voila ! It's easy

Go and get a map called Street wise Paris - about  $6.00. It has everything u need! have a GREAT TIME !!! Don't overpack :-)

  3. If it's rolling luggage, just walk.  It's not far, and you'll get to see the people up close!

  4. Neither actually. Taxis are expensive and buses are not convenient when carrying luggage.

From Gare du Nord take the RER B line marked "Direction : Massy-Palaiseau" to the Chatelet-Les Halles stop.

Transfer to Metro Line 1 marked "Direction : La Defense (Grande Arche)" to the Louvre stop.

The enitre trip takes only 1 metro ticket. If you buy a "carnet" of 10 tickets the cost for this trip is just 1.11 euros.

NB: the walking distance is about 2.3 km.

  5. I say bus. It's cheaper, and more fun. I was in Paris 3 years ago. We took mostly busses. I feel you see more and get to know the people more. Good Luck!
