  1. Try Listening 2 music that will get u krunk or "pumped up" it helps me before football games.

  2. Getting pumped is a waste of time and energy. Relax. Save your energy for the pool.

The most important thing you can do is mental imaging. Imagine yourself doing very well. The more vivid you make your "mental practice" the more you'll get out of it. Imagine yourself exploding off the blocks and leading your heat, making perfect turns and swimming strong into the wall.

The number one limiting factor of an athlete is their own belief in their limits! Practice positive self-belief everyday. You will see a difference.

  3. listen to music and calm yourself down. try resting a lot before too. that helps me

  4. You just gotta want it. It's going to hurt a lot to put it all out there, but in the end, the great swim feels great. Nothing comes easy.

  5. Think of a time you wanna get and that is all that you can think about. Nothing else. TIME! TIME! TIME!

  6. 1- Full concentration

    2- Great determination

    3- Will to win

4- Do it just like when you're in practice but better than it all the time

    5- Harder efforts

6- Focus on reaching the finish line first, do not mind the other swimmers

  7. talk to your coach; he or she will be able to help you. I personally just listen to music and that gets me pumped, but everyone is different. Some people annoy others to get pumped up, so you will have to find a way to hype yourself up. Good luck.
