I just got a corn snake, and it is still less then a foot long, how should I go about giving it water? Should I put it in a bowl, and if so, how big of a bowl, and how much water?

  1. what you should have done is your research BEFORE you got your corn! i really hate these stupid , basic questions!( well there NOT stupid when there asked before the animal is bought. .)

  2. a bowl yes, big enough so that the snake can coil up in it, and almost submerge itself, but not so deep so it can drown

  3. get a water bowl big enough for him to soak in. also use only spring water tap water is not good for your snake.

  4. put it in a bowl durrrrr

  5. well yes you can but only a small bowl not to deep go to petsmart or petco

  6. Your snake will drink water form a dish at it's own leisure. Some like to bath in their water bowl to help with the shedding process. On occasions, corns also like to releive themselves in the water dish. Fresh water should be available at all times, requiring you to change the water and clean the dish on a daily basis. The dish should be placed on the cool end of the tank to prevent the water from warming up.

  7. Petco and Petsmart offer water bowls for snakes and reptiles. I dont think it really matters how much you put in, just fill up the bowl.
