There is this girl at my work who absolutely hates me - there is really no other way to describe it. Every time I make a suggestion or a statement at any meeting, she comes right back with something contradictory. She won't look at me, and generally just ignores me. She has a somewhat abrasive personality, but has the ability to put on the "nicey nicey" for the bosses.
I think it is a result of a talk our boss had with me in his office one day in which he stated that he could basically "get a monkey to do her job," but he really needed me. The problem with that was that her cube is RIGHT outside his door, and she stated when I left his office that day that she could hear everything. Since that day, she has been very spiteful towards me.
I talked to my boss about it today, and he said I simply shouldn't worry about it - that she hates the world. But it is uncomfortable, and I get tired of having her contradict me every time I speak.
Seeing as how I've already told my boss, and he just said not to worry, what should I do? I have talked to her about it before - apologized, and expressed my desire to just get along. But it never seems to matter.
Help! Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated : )
