How should I insulate a crawlspace under the house so I can have plumbing installed for bathroom fixtures?

The crawlspace is about 2 feet high on solid ground (no basement). I don't want the new pipes to freeze.

  1. insulate the water  lines with  good insulation , the fiberglass kind with as thick a wall as you can find . also insulate the traps say for a shower or tub . and make sure the crawl spaces is sealed up  properly in the winter  


  2. you could or you could also install heat tracing on the pipes
