  1. Well, maybe you could say something like :knowing a foreign language could be helpful in may ways." then just list examples! maybe examples like these:

    1. if you were at work, and someone that speaks a foreign language needs your help, than you would be able to help them, because they dont speak english.

    2. if something bad is about to happen, and that person only speak the foreign language, then you could shout to them to watch out!

    3. it would impress your boss, and could get you a better chance of getting the job you want, just because you can speak that forein language!

p.s. i hope i helped! good luck by the way :] email me back with results, thanks! :] lol.

  2. Try introducing the speech with a sentance or so in a different language and make a point saying something like; in a few years this language will be used by more then half of the population or something like that.

Even better, to go deep make the foreign language the teenage language. you get brownie points for that one.

  3. How about introducing the subject with a question like:

Have you ever wonder what it is like when visiting a foreign country and you can communicate with the local people in their own language?  Or

Have you ever wonder what it is like meeting company clients, in front of your boss or your board members, and you can talk to the clients in their own language?  Very impressive! Your boss might say.

    Good luck!
