How should I know if my contact lense is torn or ripped?

  1. You need to keep your eyes lubricated. If not naturally then you need to buy eye drops for contacts with lubricant in it.

    Being dry  is a reason why they rip.


  2. Well if your eye is irratated then it may be ripped.  If you have a chance take out the contact and look at it under light and if it is ripped you will see.

  3. Look at it.

    If it is torn, you will see a tear in it.

  4. Let an Eye Dr. look at it...also if it is ripped or torn it will hurt. look at it under an magnifying glass.  Your best bet is the eye Dr. Usually they do Not charge you.

  5. look at it and you'll know if u put it on your eye and it hurts really bad then throw them away and get new ones

  6. Believe me you'll know.  Hurts like the dickens.  Throw away and put in new one.  If you don't have any, pay to have contact lens exam ($75-90) and they will give you new pair to try on.
