I want a really clean organized room and I haven't majorly cleaned it in awhile. I dont remember the last time i saw my closet floor, I have a lot of clothes I dont wear anymore, and i have no clue whats under my bed haha. Is there like a really efficient way I could do this all in one day? I'm not doin anything tommorow and was planning on doing it.

  1. Maybe you do the reverse way. Pick out all the clothes that you want and are still wearing. And then, for the rest, you just have to pick them all at once and throw.

Unless you tell me you have picked more than 50% of the clothes you want.

  2. focus on one section of your room at a time.

put all your clothes that you dont wear in a trash bag for goodwill, thrift stores, or just to throw away.

and put all the trash and junk you haven't used in the last 6 months in another, and chunk it!!

i've done this to my room numerous times, and its a simple easy task that should only take about an hour per section.

    hope this helped!!

  3. Chances are if you have no clue what's under your bed, you probably don't need it anymore. You can take the fast approach and pull it out then it toss it or go through it to be sure. I've watched a lot of shows on cable networks about cleaning and organizing. One thing that seems consistent across all of them is they have folks get at least 3 large bins or boxes for the clutter lying around. One bin is "keep", one bin is "donate" and the other is "garbage".

I wonder quite often what makes us keep clothes we never wear. I come up with a lot of reasons to keep clothes when I'm trying to purge but I've gotten better at it. Every so often I take out a stack of clothes that's been pushed to the back of the closet, it's the stuff I never wear, and try it on in front of my full length mirror. If it fits well, it's still in fashion (or a classic piece) and I think I'll wear it again I put it back in the front. The rest I put in a large trash bag for Goodwill. The stuff I brought back to the front I hang in an odd way (inside out or hanger facing opposite direction of all the others) and if it's still hanging that way after a month it goes to Goodwill.

    Happy Organizing!

  4. pick up your clothes.

  5. Get trash bags.

Put the clothes you dont want in the trash bags.

Put the clothes you want to keep in hampers.

organize and clean tops of desks/night stands/bearus

    vacumm floor.

    make bed.

wash/dry clothes in hampers and trash bags SEPERATLY.(so you dont have to go through the same thing of seperating them again)

    hang clothes in closet.

    spray fabreez every where.

go through the clothes that was in the trash bags, the ones that are in good condition write a list of what they are and how many and put back into trash bags. (the clothes that are in bad condition throw away in seperate trash bag)

then take the clothes that are in good condition to the salvation army, or the needy.

Now i'm sure everyone will benefit a cleaned room! lol.

  6. If you haven't worn something in the last year, get rid of it.  Use empty laundry baskets or boxes to organize things to donate to charity and things to throw out.  Make a pile of stuff that goes in other rooms, too.  If you keep going back and forth to other rooms, you could get distracted easily.

  7. Dresser: Take out all the things you don't want, don't fit, or have permanent stains/holes. Have a tops draw, a bottoms, underwear/bra, socks/tights/leggings.

Closet: Take out all the things you don't want. Get one of these: http://www.target.com/3-chest-blk-eyelet... to keep everything organized in your closet. Papers you need, Extra school supplies, etc...

Donate all the stuff you don't want/need to one of the clothes and shoe dumpsters. (usually by gas stations)

If you have a desk or nighttable, this is the time to do it. Dump everything to the middle of the floor. Have about 2-3 garbage bags, and just toss things you don't need.

  8. you should keep somewhere the cloth that you do not wear and don't wait until the room gat dirtyer after you clean it up  the next day if you see any thing do it clean it beacause if you just leave it and wait things it is gone get worest

  9. You need to make three different piles: 1) clothes you still want to keep and things you wear all the time.  This pile should include the clothes that need to be laundered and those that need mending.  2) Clothes that you haven't worn, don't really like anymore, BUT are still in GOOD SHAPE.  These you will take to Goodwill.  3) Clothes that are torn, too small, hopelessly out of fashion, etc.  These are the clothes you throw away.  After the sorting, then go do laundry and start rearranging your closet.  Hang everything up the same way.  Take a breather: doesn't that look better now?
