The idea I have for this play is a boy/ young adult who is slipping further and further from the path of ... good. Then he is guided by illusions of people who have died. How can I open this story?

  1. If you have a script then you could talk to a local theater about reading over the script and possibly holding auditions and putting on a play for the community a good fee for cast is usually have them pay 25$ for costumes, and ticket ranging is usually 6-15$ but do you have the time and patience this kind of stuff usually  take about 6 months to put together.

  2. get some books on playwriting to find out what you are doing first.  Got to Amazon.com and look at Catron's Playwriting and others.

  3. A brief desciption of the boys child hood...and how he started steering away from his 'path of good'.
