How should I rase money for renevation?

My friend and I are thinking about making over a room in her basement to make it an "us" place! What are good and efective ways to rase money (and enough money so we can make it look cool) We want to rase money for: paint, a rug, beanbag/ furniture, mini fridge, lamps, etc... and if you have anymore ideas for us like what to ad to it please mention it!!! And we are girls! lol! So our 2 questions are: 1)How should we rase money? 2) What else should we add?
