Ever since I got a new computer and new ipod (on dec 2007), my grades started to drop rapidly in all my classes. After 1st semester ended (Jan 2007), i still managed to hang on to those A's, or lets say barely an A in all my classes. I am ranked #6 in my school ranking (weighted 9-12) and i always achieved nearly 97- 100% in all my classes, including AP/ Honors since my freshmen year. i am a junior right now and my grades started to drop. 2nd semester started and i have a really bad start- i failed on a test for the 1st time in my ap-physics class and it became very difficult for me to concentrate. I need help, really badly.

The question is: how can i get my study skills back?

  1. Organize; First you should take a time to do some time management skills

  2. Eliminate computer use and ipod use until your grades pick up - messing up will follow you for the rest of your life you know? Doing well will help you for the rest of your life

Then slowly make appointments for when you can use the computer or ipod like rewards

Ranking that well can get you into law school so don't mess with those opportunities

  3. Make friends with some college students and ask people what benefits you will get from college.

  4. well, you need motivation

when the next test comes, say to yourself, that you really really! need to ace this.

and become very concerned about the test.

and stop spending so much time on your ipod, and computer

if you really want to succeed, then you will be able to concentrate more
