I am 11 and I want it to last for about 5 years, maybe more if possible. I don't want just a plain color. Thats too boring. Right now, My room has fairies all over it. The walls, my pillow cases, my comforter, my lamp, my picture frames, my tissue box!!! I am dying for something else and now my mom is finally changing it for me. I want some type of cool pattern. And I don't want it to be some type of sport because chances are, I'm not going to be into it when I am 16. My favorite colors are green and blue. Okay, thanks!

  1. HAVE A PRETTY  TEAL COLOR WITH  ZEBRA PRINT ON 1 WALL THEN HAVE THE REST OF THE WALL'S HOT PINK THATS HOW MY ROOM IS AND ITS SO CUTE HOPES  UP

  2. I think you should paint it a very light green or blue.If you choose a dark color it would make your room seem smaller. If you want a pattern then you can paint it different shades of green/blue in stripes.Or you can paint like a mural with fairies(if you're still into that)or flowers but not too many.On one wall would be nice.

  3. Suggestion instead of painting, find the blue & green that you like in sheer panals & hang like you would for a window around your room, the look is pretty whimsicle. Or find king size flat sheets in your color & tack to the wall. That way when you feel you need a change, it will be so much easier to add, or take away completely....Have fun!!!.

  4. Paint your room a great shade of green/blue. Try Pittsburgh Paints color Kingston Aqua.  Accent it with random polka dots in darker shades of green/blue, green and blue (maybe throw a random yellow one in?).  It just seems fun and upbeat.  Hope this helps!

  5. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think a bright blue like "improptu" (# 6955) would look terrific.

  6. There are a few options.

    1. You could get a really bright fun wallpaper. Stripes, polka dots, something you could only find in a wall paper. Then put it on the biggest wall in your room. Paint the rest of the walls one of the colors from the paper. Preferably blue or green. Then take other colors from the paper and put it into the bedding. But make sure you inject a little bit of pattern with the pillows.

    2. Paint it white and then put brightly colored polka dots all over. Green, blue, pink, orange, red. Then take the colors from them and put them in bedding, curtians, and accessories.

    3. Paint it all blue. Preferably a bright blue. Then put some green horizantal stripes that wrap all around the room. To make it a little more girly, add hot pink accessories. White bedspread with pink, blue, and green pillows.

    Hope I helped!!
