I have noticed that the duplex across the street has 6 vehicles and there are all kinds of mexican's in an out all hours of the day. I have noticed that the tags on the vehicles change regularly. They switch one vehicle with a NC and GA tag. Also there are there cars that have a Used car lots drive off tag and every month a new one of those is put on....obviously they are doing illegal stuff. Should I write a letter to the police anonymously? I was thinking about taking pictures of the vehicles when the tags are changed so the police will understand what I'm talking about.

How do you report illegals to INS?

  1. Dont get them deported they have feelings you know

  2. Walk in your local precinct, tell your story -- walk out.

  3. maybe u should just call the police department and tell them that u want to be kept anonymous. then they'll just come out and investigate on their own.

  4. First of all how do you know they are illegals? if you call them and you don't know for sure, you are wasting their time and my tax dollars. If they are committing criminal acts or suspicions activity, call your local police station.........DUH!

  5. Well Gemini - I've read questions and answers from you before and I think your heart is in the right place so I'm not inclined to think this is all just a "hate-rant" as some have alluded too.

Though you know what they say about Gemini's... the evil twin...

Anyway - I just want to tell a story:

2 years ago a large hispanic family moved across the street in a mostly caucasian, retiree neighborhood obviously undergoing transition in demographic (we live there now and we're not "retired" - we have kids!).

These folks are constantly busy - and they have a ton of cars!  They're from California.  Anyway it is traffic all day and all night.  One of the guys works at 4 a.m.  Most of the traffic is mini-vans and people with kids and balloons - I mean these folks have something going on just about every weekend - but it's totally family oriented.

Well one of our neighbors complained and approached me - he was cantankerously certain that there was drug activity because of all the traffic.  I tried to explain - they've had weddings, siestas, birthday parties... it's a zoo on Sunday for sure.

I think they were also helping friends move to the area - giving them a place to stay... and their extended family is huge.

I understand how tough it is to be faced with the unfamiliar.  They have at least 8 vehicles - we only have one - I bike to work.  It's just a different lifestyle.

Anyway - all that said - I think you asking the question shows you are trying not to judge quickly - what I think would really help you decide whether or not to call the non-emergency police line is to figure out what it is exactly they are doing with the tags!

Leave all that other stuff out of it!  The INS stuff - irrelevant at this point and probably none of your business unless you see someone being harmed I guess...too political... but auto theft - that is all of our business.  A phone call might get a casual drive-by by a patrol officer and he/she can run some plates.

  6. sign the letter Anonymous

  7. Call the Cuban CDR and tell that there are enemies of the State conspiring to defeat the government

I am Hispanic, I came here legally, I had to suffer a thousand ( or two ) humiliations at the hands of the INS.

If they came legally, illegally, that is NONE of my business, unless they are doing something bad

  8. Tell the police and stay out of it.  Don't peer out the window.. don't get involved.  The Mexican mafia is totally brutal, and they will kill for suspicion that you are a Narc.  Because they are doing it so stupiedly, I don't think you are dealing with the Mexican Mafia, but you never know.

However.... only the cops will know.  Stay...out...of...it.

  9. If you don't want people to know you reported illegals, theres a simple task

    Its actually very easy

    DONT REPORT THEM

And by obvioussly doing something illegal you mean selling used cars? Basically what ur saying is you see mexicans selling used cars and switching tags? ohhh its illegal because it says Georgia instead of North carolina. Switching tags is legal, and why does it matter, a police doesn't check out tags to see a stolen car,If they were robbing cars, and switching tags was there only way to get away with it, they would have been caught by now. people nowadays just say ILLEGAL and do stupid ****.

  10. call a police dept. and if they ask for your name say you wish to be annonymous but still want the situation taken care of.

  11. You can make a report to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

    The number is: (866) 347-2423

More information can be found at http://www.ice.gov

  12. 1-866-DHS-2-ICE

    1-866-347-2423

Immigration and Customs Enforcement number is listed above in order to report suspicious activity.

  13. for God's sake, dont be a snitch...

go ahead and give me all the got d**n thumbs down

  14. yeah, of course you should.  Part of the town I live in got run over by illegals and they raped a bunch of elementary school girls walking home from school.  The town has tried to cover it up, but their parents have come out to talk about it.

You should protect your neighborhood, call and file a report.  Call from a payphone if you feel you need to.

  15. I don't think reporting the police about these people "changing tags" and "walking in and out" is going to change anything.

It is not enough evidence for the police to prove that they are illegal.

Unless they are making a lot of noise or if they are being jerks to your family, friends or even yourself, then I would not report them to the police.
