our classroom is not that big and limited places for the clues/treasure to hide.. only under the table/chair... im teaching directions:north south, etc. so this will be a follow up activity of that lesson.

  1. maybe you should do the treasure hunt like hot and cold.Only with differant words.

  2. Does it have to be in the classroom? Can u not take it outside in the playground or on the field?  Then they could run and move around -gives you more places to hide things!

In classroom-try inside cupboards doors, on ceiling, under pen pots etc...if they are hidden in hard to find places you could always make up clues to help them!

  3. this is how i began my class every day - I would hide the number of the week in the room half in site and half hidden - wall - ceiling - .  The first one to notice it for the day was my line leader for first recess.  I laminated everyone name on  a card and I threw them on the floor for circle time in the beginning of class - as they arrived they had to find there name and place it on my attendance book - When I would ask i any one was not here the name was still on the floor.  This are some the thing I did for my 14 to 16 preschoolers

  4. You need to put the age.  Very important for a good answers.  I cant answer again but others will help you if you list the age.
