How should I set up my gecko's tank?

What do I need and how should I have it laid out :)

it really depends on the species of gecko you have there are many different species of gecko with different climate needs on the market

Edit:for  well leopard geckos are pretty easy and cheap to setup for.

1. a 20 gallon tank(i know some caresheets say 10g is adequate for a baby or juvenile but a full grown leo will benefit from a bigger tank 20+ gallon tank)

2.repti-carpet, shelf liner and paper towelsare the safest substrates and are among the cheapest

3.atleast two hides on either side of the tank (one humid on the hot side one dry on the cool side)

4. a shallow water dish

5.two thermometers on each side of the tank

6. two caps of calcium and mineral powder
