How should I spend my Mage talent points? WoW?

I'm new to World of Warcraft and just learned about Talent points.

I made my decision to be a Frost mage and want to do major damage, I hear I'm in the right class.

I'm at level 8.

How should I spend my points when I get them?

Fire = High damage, Low survivability

Frost = Lower damage then fire but more survivability.

Arcane = Mixed of both.

Frost spec is most suitable for leveling. Just stick to one and put the points down on one till you reach 70.
