Four of us, including my adventurous 80 year old grandparents will be renting a car to see the Ring of Kerry or the Dingle Peninsula (or both?) What should we try to see? How long does it take to drive the Ring of Kerry. Where would you stay?

  1. Once you're there, you will want to stay two weeks.not days. And I recommend staying at a bed and breakfast,to soak up more of the way of life there.

  2. yeah, i love questions about Ireland!!,

when are you going?, weather isn't too good right now!!

depends on what you are into really, go around the towns, go to the beach, go on a boat to see fungi (a dolphin)

go to yahoo UK and Ireland  and search for things there!!

good luck and have a lovely trip!

  3. I would suggest staying in killarney cos its kind of central, and the ring of Kerry is gorgeous, it took us about 4-5 hours to do the whole thing. Well worth it though. Also up around Lady's view of the lakes of killarney is amazing, molls gap, the beara peninsula, the dingle peninsula, mucross, mucross house, the national park, the jaunting cars! Kerry is a wonderful place i must say! [I'm not from Kerry either by the way ha ha]

  4. i hope you have a lovely trip  Kerry is brilliant and 3 days to see i should think go to mayo also beautiful there also enjoy Ireland
