How should I start exercising?

I am hoping to start exercising this week. I have been exercising all my life but I should say "wrong." I say this because I would exercise everyday in school and after but never watched what I ate and that is very important.

So any good tips on how to eat healthy and exercise? Any good websites?

I would also like to know what exercises and time should I start with.

10 minutes a day for the first few days and increase by 5 minutes?

I eat a lot of healthy food but sometimes I get carried away with junk, mainly at school!

  1. Start a journal with everything you eat.  Figure out your calorie intake.  As long as your weight is staying the same, you can assume that you are eating exactly what you are burning.  Next, cut your calories by 500 calories per day.  Without exercise, you'll lose a pound a week this way.  With exercise, it can increase from there.
