How should I start my paper?

I'm writing a paper thats about a personal reflection about me. My characteristics, friends, concerns, and goals. How should I start it? I have no idea....

There are many ways you could start this paper you could do as other people say and start buy saying my name is .... I was born on.... and I currently live in..suburb.

or you could interview your mum about the day you were born and what the birth was like and what your mum and did when you born.  E.g. After carrying me for 9 months my mother finally went into labour and had me at(time) and at (hospital) at the time my Dad was at (home work etc) and my mum had to get to hospital.  she described my birth as..... and then you could write down about how you grew up and the hobbies and stuff that you have had over the years.

Another idea you could use is to read other famous peoples auto - biographies to get an idea of how they start there stories.
