The package says you can resteep leaves up to 3 times, but what should I do with the leaves until I'm ready to resteep them. I'm going to throw them out at the end of the day, but I don't want them to begin growing bacteria throughout the day. They are wet (obviously) and in a mesh tea ball, and I was thinking I should keep them in the fridge? Resteeping makes the loose leaf tea a lot more affordable for me.

  1. get some coffee filters like the ones used in electric coffee makers, place your tea and tie it up with a string, then you can use it like a tea bag!

  2. Keeping them in the fridge is a sensible thing to do, but you should take it out long enough to let it warm up to room temperature before resteeping it.

  3. I have experimented with hanging the tea ball from the wires of the refrigerator shelf with a napkin underneath, like hanging a garment on a clothesline, so that the tea could dry out a bit. It worked well.

  4. i just leave mine in the bottom of the tea pot until i`m ready to re brew
