Yesterday, I walked up a lot of stairs, way more than usual (about 6 flights more than usual) and now today my quadriceps in both legs are extremely sore constantly. They hurt when I sit down, they hurt when I walk, they hurt when I stand up, they even hurt when I'm just laying down. So I'm wondering if I should go to a doctor, but also what I can do to nurse the sore muscles in the meantime. I've been icing them and took some advil and so far no relief at all.

  1. you don't need to see a doctor go see a massage therapist & in stand of putting ice on your muscle, put heat. Since their not swollen or bleeding you want the bleed to circulate. Watch is going to help your muscles. & the massage therapist is going to be a lot cheaper than the doctor. Some where like $60 it depends on where you live. try that

  2. Rest,

you damaged the muscle and now it needs to repair itself. You can ice it if you want, but it needs time to heal
