  1. yes

  2. It's best to use razor blades, and cut up, not across.

  3. get athletic tape...like johnson's works and then wrap it starting before your wrist then start angling up from the bottom right to top left and get around your thumb and then finish before your knuckles

  4. thick rolls of plumbing tape

  5. ask your coach . .

they should know how to handle situations like this

  6. Cant explain over computer, but make sure its inmobile! that way it will have a chance to heal and you wont re-agrivate it. You want NO movement of the joint

  7. I would tape it like a bit of bandage in between your thumb and finger and the rest of it on your wrist.

  8. The biggest thing for an injured wrist to prevent abnormal movement and movement that is not needed in the sport. I suggest running over to your local sporting store, Big 5, Joes etc. And grabbing some pre-wrap if you dont already have it. The pre-wrap is what you use to wrap first on your wrist to allow for the tape to not loosen with sweat, and feel better on your skin.

Wrap your wrist 6 times going about from your bottom of your palm to about 2-3 inches back from your wrist. Then do the same with the tape. Make sure not to do it to tight and also not to loose. Try it a couple times and see how it feels. No mater what position you are playing for volleyball you want to make sure your wrist is covered especially if you have an injury. An extra couple of wraps with pre-wrap might help take the pain off from hits.

By the way a thumb-spica isn't needed, thats where you wrap around your thumb and back down. This is much harder to do and is not suitable to do it on your own. And isnt needed for volleyball.

  9. You should place a stable piece of metal or something on your wrist. Then you should tape it down so that your wrist won't hurt or get further injury.

  10. just leave it chicks dig scars

  11. i used to have to tape my wrists and i tape other guys wrist on my university team...you need to have a underwrap to put on first so that the tape is not sticking to your actual skin which makes it harder to move and it hurts...also you want to anchor the tape job by not just taping the wrist but also wrapping the tape around where your thumb meets your hand...it is hard to explain over this but you want to make sure it is secure but not too tight that you cant move it...the whole point is to give your wrist support not to stop movement entirely....if your still not sure ask your coach or gym teacher for help

    good luck

  12. u should go to a trainer at ur gym or use prerap and then tape it over the pre-rap
