Okay I have a really annoying boss at work. He always has mood swings and he really pisses me off....and he is really cheap....He doesen't like paying me money.....and when it is time to pay me, he always postpones my payday, and everytime I come up to him and ask him about it, he pretends like he doesen't know what i'm talking about, and whenever I need to miss work, he gets really mad....and next week during thanksgiving I dont want to come to work on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday but how should I approach him and tell him? What kind of tone should I use? what should I do?

  1. find another job first, then quit your current one. dont leave yourself "hanging" without any income. as far as telling your boss that u dont want to come in, just tell him in person. he will probably fire u anyway and maybe u can collect unemployment.

  2. Quit that lame job but before you do have another job lined up then tell him to **** off.  You need to get paid on time every time and If that were me...well we'll leave it at that.  Good luck mate.

  3. Find another job, find proof that he is not paying you on time, get a lawyer and sue his @$$

  4. You have a job. That means you go to work on days you are scheduled unless you are sick or there is an emergency. It is called work ethic. If you are unhappy with this employer, look for something else and then give a two week notice. If you want to request the days off, you should have done it a long time ago. You can still request them but I would not expect that he can cover 4 of your shifts with a one week notice. It sounds to me like you are looking for people to encourage you to not show up for work on these days because your boss is a jerk. The bottom line is, you have done nothing about it so far. It has been good enough for you to stay as long as you have. Leave the proper  way with a two week notice.. You will take your pride with you knowing that you did things the right way.
