How should I tell my mom I got a c?

I got a c in socal studies and i tried my hardest I need to tell her how should i?

I am sure your mother understands that every teacher grades differently. Some are easy, some are very hard nosed.  With some teachers ,there is a personality conflict. This shouldn't affect your mark but believe me, it does. Just keep on plugging away and doing your best.

Just sit down with her and tell her that you really did all your homework, and you payed close attention in class, and you stayed up late to study for every exam, but even doing all this you still ended up getting a C. She should understand eventually. Just make sure you keep at it next year!

This is what I always say and maybe it will work for you:

"Mom..I know you are going to be mad but don't get all mad because I have already grounded myself from **** for *** weeks..I got a C in social studies." I hope this helped.

You need to tell her. Remember to tell her you tried your best, but also tell her you will study more, and ask the teacher for extra credit. Make sure you are clam when you tell her, and tell her you will work your best to pull the grade up. Good luck!

I'd tell her just what you posted. That you got a C but, tried you hardest. Social Studies is a tough subject. (I hated it! lol!) Hope this helped!

Straight up tell her. Sit down and tell her "Mom, I tried really hard, but I got a C in social studies this semester."

A "C" simply means you did average.  Its not like you flunked.  Just tell her that you tried your hardest.  A parent shouldn't be upset if the child really did do their best.  You can either tell her or let her see it for herself when the school mails out report cards.

If your mom is the typ that will freak with a simple C then i would just say " mom im sorry i got a C i will try to do better next time. Or just don't tell her.
