  1. Hello. I am a semi-professional Runner (I didnt make the olympics unfortunatly) and I am trying to help Americans become more fit.

I am currently working on a website on which you can submit your fitness information and I give you a personal Training program. The website is not up and running yet, so I currently am allowing people to email me their information and giving programs out that way. THIS IS FREE.

This is not a scam. I am not asking for any personal information. You dont even have to give me your real name. If you choose to get a personal training program, please email me (personalfitnesstrainer011@yahoo.com)

Why do you want to become fit?

My program is based on the Lydiard System. If you are skeptical feel free to look him up.

  2. I am 32 years old and half marathon runner. I strongly recommend you to find a suitable table at www.coolrunning.com and stick to it (do not skip any day). This kind of daily increase is very good for you. Also, as an incentive and keep the track of your pace, goals, etc. do a little investment and buy the nike+ wrist band. It really makes a difference and you will have an extra incentive on runnig.

    Good luck!!!

  3. It really depends on your fittness level and how you want to do.  Are you planning on racing to win the race or just finish.  Is this your first race?  Have you been running for a day, a month or a year?

For the beginner you should start with a mile or two 3-4 days a week and slowly build up your mileage.  If you just want to finish a 5 mile race then if you can make 4 miles in a training run then you can do 5 miles for a race.

If you are more advanced then you can do tempo runs, intervals, fartleks ect

  4. The couch to 5k program!  It's actually a 3 mile run, but it'll help you start.

The easiest way to start with this, is to go onto itunes store and  search for "couch to 5k."  There are podcasts (they're free) and they go along with the couch to 5k program.  They play music and tell you when to walk and when to run.  there's also one with silence and only voice instruction, and if you know how to use a program like garageband or audacity, you can  add your own music.

  5. Well i say loosen up. Stretch and exercise around you neighborhood.

  6. strech you legs and jog aroung you house
