Question:

How should I treat my injured knee?

I have a sports injury in my knee supposedly from running in old running shoes on a hard surface. I haven't run in two months now, but my knee still has a problem. Whenever I put weight on it while it is not fully extended (especially while going up stairs or crouching), I feel a pain along the back side of the joint. I may just consult my doctor, unless this is a common sports injury that has a simple remedy.

  1. Read and apply http://www.helium.com/tm/148271

Doctors are useless, knee injuries are very common and while the theory behind that link is real simple the application is not.

  2. quadricep exercises ,

  3. well the normal injury for this would be in the shins. the name of the injury shin splint. im think that the injury you have sustained is either fluid gathering behind the knee cap (osgood-slaters) or the wearing down of the cartilage in the knee hope this helps

  4. my knee is messed up too, there is no simple rememdy. go to a doctor immediately.
