  1. Solemn Judgement is a very good card and it can be used in lots of different  situations but it's best to be used later in the duel because you probubly have to pay less life points because when you activte it you have to pay half your life points. It is best used to keep your monsters on the field by protecting then from spell and traps and stopping your opponent from summoning monsters. You should use Solemn to stop your opponent from doing anything then you would be able to summon your best monster due to having weak monsters on your side of the field.

    Good Luck

  2. against glad beast normal summon

    and u need 3

  3. You should use Solemn Judgment when you are nearly losing... or at late game.

    For example,

You are on 8000 LP, and I have activated Lightning Vortex. You chain Solemn Judgment, and now you are on 4000 LP.

It's good losing 4000 LP to stop massive destruction, but then again, that is a hefty LP cost, and it might help your opponent in a way, as they can then use Return from the Different Dimension and attack you for game.

However, if you are on 200 LP and your opponent Special Summons Judgment Dragon, you should definitely use Solemn Judgment on that card, as 100 LP can save you from a duel.

Usually you might add Dark Bribe to stop cards in the beginning of a duel, and then you can use the saved Solemn Judgments in the mid game once your LP is less than 4000 LP.

But overall, use Solemn Judgment when it is a TOTAL emergency to do it, if they activated a card that isn't worth anything to negate it then don't. But if it's possible to change the whole duel around then activate Solemn Judgment.

  4. i only use solemn judgments when either i know, i will win if he doesnt play that card, or i kno i have a better chance of winning if he doesnt get to play that card. so yeah. life points arent the matter here, cause you can take away as many but its only half, so you'll live, and maybe end up winning.!

also dark bribes might help ,they are almost like solemns, but not as great, but lower price cost.

    hope this helps!

    good luck!

  5. Obviously you dont waste it but do not hesitate to use it if your only concern is your life points. I have been playing for a long time and this is going to sound strange but those of you who have been playing competitively for along know what I mean. Life points mean nothing in a good duel. Now of coarse obviously the point is to lower the opponents life points to zero but when I say mean nothing, I'm saying that when you win a duel in competitive play most of the time its by pure dominance and so paying 4000 life points to save 1 spirit reaper or something isn't out of the questions of it means your opponent is screwed and about to get hit with a monarch or something else. Paying life points for solemn should never cross your mind at any point because you could always play yourself out of a jam and maintaining that dominance throughout a duel is very important. so use 3 solemns in a row on your first 3 moves who cares if you do use three in your first 3 turns, I could confidently say you are winning that duel because those three turns you are killing your opponents best cards and keeping dominance. So dont worry about the life points unless you run many cards that require life point costs but then if you did that why the heck would you run solemns right. lol
