My subs are 2 rockford fosgate RFZ 1415 fifteen inch subs. They have a rms of 150 watts and a peak of 300 watts at 4 ohms. How should I wire these up? Do i need a mono or a 2 channel amp? Is there a certain way that will give them more power or that would be best? Should I match the RMS wattage?

  1. For maximum performance your amp should put out atleast 80% rms as your subs rms. Mono block amps are usualy the best for getting the most power. Try to get a mono amp that when wired at 2ohms puts out as close or right on 300 watts as you can. Wire your subs in parallel (positive-positive and negative-negative) to get them down to 2ohms. Good luck.
