I like doing to 100 m. I've only tried it once, but I might consider doing to 200 m next year. I also like doing the long jump for my field event.

How should I train to be faster/stronger/better?

  1. Try running up hills. My training is running 200M's Uphill. 2 Sets of 4. I advise you to bring a lot of water. You'll get really dehydrated. It works for me. I run the 100M's around 11.6 Seconds.

  2. Sprinting requires strength.

Lift weights, do plyometric exercises, run stadium bleachers, or stairs and do fast strides along with 3 days of easy distance of about 3 miles.

This will make you stronger so you can train to sprint when pre season arrives.
