How should guys approach girls when clubbing?

In club settings you just don't ask to dance. Do girls like it when guys move in on them? What should guys do in order to make girls want to dance?

Three ways to go, depending on your time and style: 1. Ease into it, 2. Straight line approach, 3. Pounce.

1. Start a little ways away. Maybe impress her with some moves if she's watching. If you're at the wall stare and try to catch her eye. Mosey on over. Then enter her circle. Throw in some hand gestures and smiles to let her know you like her dancing. Try to engage in some give-and-take moves or mirror what she's dong. Give her ten seconds to a full song, unless you are waiting for a better one and she's really going at it. Don't look at other girls. Move around to see if she looks to see where you're going. Then get closer and approach from the side. Make a little inviting half-circle with your arms. Then sidestep to behind. Brush lightly first. Then firm. No hands for a few seconds until she's more receptive. Remember that girls may still be shy whether or not they want more.

2. Straight-line approach. This is where you must keep in mind the 30° arc rule - I'll explain. A girl dances on an axis. The guy approaches at an angle, starting well within her field of vision and moving on a trajectory to her back door. If the girl wants to deny without snubbing him, she will rotate along her axis 30 to 60 degrees to get out of the way. The guy can keep moving on his line, now tangent to her circle, and make a smooth getaway. In the straight-line approach, you make sure she sees you, and go straight ahead so there's no confusion about the intended target. Give her some time by making your way through the crowd slowly. Put your arms out in an open gesture, sidle into the zone, and see what happens.

3. Pounce. Just brush past her shoulder and get right behind her with a lot of confidence and get at it, smoothly though. If she balks, put your hands up "don't shoot" style and see if she smiles. If she's disdaining, leave.

She may be giving escape signals.This includes hand wagging, staring over your shoulder the whole time, and constant jerking her head to the side or away from you. She may want you to leave without being assertive about it. Girls are dumb sometimes.

Lastly, for goddsakes try to get rhythm straight.

Okay this really depends on the club....but most clubs just come in from behind and dance on her....3 songs tops!....if u really like her...throughout the night say a couple of things to her....like how cute she is....her outfit....after that she'll be looking 4 u through the whole night....then come up and ask 2 refill her drink....make sure she goes with u...do a little more talking then...wa la!
