I am gonna try to act more like myself, now. Just being me, But i heard that if you do not act like yourself, people will judge you, and also wanna fight you if you do not act your race. =\. See i am white, but i wear air force ones, and babyphat, rocawear, lot29, southpole, and alot of those brands, but some people think i am acting black when im not. Sometimes the way i talk sounds a lil bit ghetto, but im really tryna not be like that anymore. I got new air force ones for school, but i also got like Aeropostale shirts and stuff, but i dont know. What do you think?

  1. you have 2 choices.

1 - be yourself and be confident. if anyone wants to fight, explain calmly you aren't into fighting.  then if they actually attack you, kick azz like nobody's bizness.  afterwards say "i TOLD you i wasn't into fighting."

2 - play a role and drive yourself crazy trying to keep it up

  2. At my high school, when white girls tried to dress the way you do, black people would laugh at them and say they were trying to hard. I was one of those girls. Some black girl told me to "act my color" so I did. I now wear clothes such as Hollister & Co., Abercrombie, and American Eagle. Now I consider that to be "myself". When I think of how i use to act and dress I feel embarrassed. Hope this helps.

  3. Just dress how you want and act yourself. It's really not that hard. Stop trying to hide your REAL personality. Let people judge you they don't know you. Wear what you want, and talk how you usually do because your true friends wont care about the brand of clothes you wear.

  4. just be yourself, most of the worst initiation stuff involves the guys anyway

  5. Jesus Christ! Wear what you want Be what you want. Talk how you want. It's just high school. Believe me, by the time you're 20, nobody's going to care
