  1. I will give you the same answer as I did for your similar question.

Ireland does not have a green card system. That is something peculiar to the USA. If you are outside Ireland, and you want to know anything about Ireland's immigration system, you will find that information on the website of any Irish Embassy or Consulate. If you are inside Ireland, you can find the same information on the government website or from any Garda(police) police station.

If you want to get an answer here, readers are not mind readers. You will have to give a lot more information about your nationality, your status, and if you have Irish residency, the reason for it. But remember, Ireland is a small mostly Catholic country, and is not seeking immigrants, especially not from outside of the European Union. It has a good system for hunting down and deporting illegals too.

We don't have 'permanent residents' in Ireland. We only have 'Irish citizens' and 'aliens'.

I am an Irish citizen. Give more information and I will try to give you a helpful answer.

  2. Ignore what john 666 says. He is intent on giving you misleading information.

To bring your spouse here you need to apply for a "Spouse residency visa"

You can apply immediately because you have a green card.

Then once your spouse is in Ireland you apply for a work permit for them should they wish to work.

It's mostly alot of paper work and it would be a good idea to go check all the requirements at the Irish immigration service on Brigh quay because if you leave out even one document they can refuse the visa and you have to start again

I hope it all works out for you.
