I just started my first pack a few days ago and I have been taking it around 8:34 am

I need to take it at about 7:30 or 7:50am

Should I gradually take it earlier or should I just start right away tomorrow at the new time i need it?

Will that an hour make that much of a difference in protecting me?

Oh and my b/c is ortho tri cyclen lo

Thank you!

  1. It's fine to just start taking it at 7:30 tomorrow morning.  You don't have to be that exact as long as it is close to the same time.  If you're still that concerned about it, just use condoms for a while to be sure(since you should be anyway since you just started them), but it's really nothing to worry about though(I would only worry if you're going to change it to evening or something maybe, then I would gradually change the time.)

  2. Just start your new time tomorrow.  It doesn't have to be the EXACT same time everyday, just around the same time.

  3. An hour will not make a difference, but I noticed you said you just started a few days ago... It can take upto a month of BC to be effective, and its reccomended that you continue to use an alternative form of bc during this time.

    Hope this helps
