How should i clean my Crosman Quest 1000X airgun?

Question

To clean the blued steel on the outside will gun oil work or do i need Crosman RMC Oil? Should i get a cleaning kit for the bore or will cleaning pellets work? Also i have a problem with the barrel sticking shut and it is very hard to open, how should i fix this?
