How should i convince my parents to let me get golden retriever?

I know the are hard work but I love dogs. I already have a 6 year old yellow lab who loves people and other animals!

lol w.e ive been there (wanting another dog, not adolecent prennacys)

i had this tiny little maltese but we had rescued her as an adult and my parents didnt belive i knew how to care for a puppy so i wrote a 10 page essay on how to take care of one which didnt work so i asked her what exactly she wanted me to do, every parent is different. maybe they want proof you will take care of it or better grades that youll have to figure out on you own good luck

You should just prove that you are responsible. Say that you will care for her and do all the things that need to be done to take care of a dog

Ask them if you can get one and then show them that you are responsible. Like ask them if i get A's and B's for the first semester of school can i get a puppy. (if you really want a puppy and can wait a little say a year.) good luck!

You have one dog -- do you have ROOM for another big, high energy dog?  And I DO MEAN high energy!
