How should i cure my hamster's flesh wound?

I have a hamster that was attacked by my lkittle kitten and one side of his face has no fur and is really raw. He seems ok and he is acting quite normal but, i really do not want it to get infected. is there anything that i can do besides a visit to the vet? I would like to get an answer soon because i do not want to have him have any serious problems. Thank You.

if you don't want serious problems take him to the vet.

trying different internet reccomended treatments can make it worse and then you'll end up either paying more for a vet to fix the problem or a dead hamster from an infection that the vet could have helped clear up pretty cheap.

Take him to the vet, if you don't it will probably get infected.(if it isn't already)

try keeping it clean with a bit of water but i would advise you take him to the vet immediantly before any really big problems acure.hope this helped and i hope he is ok =)
