  1. If your advanced or skilled enough to be fighting then you should know the answer to that question.  Dehydrate yourself the night before the weigh in. Put on a grocery bag dont drink any fluids or eat anything for the 24 hours prior to the weigh in. And try and take a big **** too the morning of the weigh in. 8 pounds isn't that hard to sweat out of you. You will feel drained and weak. But after the weigh in start pounding the water too ya, eat a nice steak or something high in carbs you'll make the 152 lbs, but by fight time you'll be back up around your 160 giving you an advantage in size and power.

Of course it can drain you of stamina, depends on your body and how you do it, 8 lbs ain't much to sweat out of yourself.

And if you have a trainer which i assume you must he should know how to do that, if he dont, get yourself a new trainer.

  2. you need to be careful losing weight b/c you can lose too much weight which it sounds like you are if it is taking away from your strength. I strongly suggest you talk to a doctor before trying to lose anymore weight. for information on how you should eat for good nutrition I suggest to look at what crossfit.com has to say. you will also get good information on fitness there as well. good luck with your fight
