How should i deal with Rude people?

okay so at my work when i get customers who want to order food they are always so Rude and Snooty towards me. doesnt seem to be just me seems to be all my co-workers. the customers just seem like they are always so irritated and angry. What would be the most Apropreate Way to treat them? should i just Kill them with kindness?

waiter 7 years:  Yeah, unfortunately its your job.  Customer service is a real pain it the @$$, and takes a lot out of you.

But the ability to let it roll off your back is a skill you can learn.  Being attentive is a skill that will earn you money.  Knowing what people want and need can earn you tips and kudos.  Being professional makes you money and earns the respect of others.

Glad NOT to be a waiter anymore.  It was so tiresome.

i work in a food place as well and I get tons of customers just like you.  regardless of how they act i never act the same way back. Gandhi once said: "an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind". just bare thru it buddy. be respectful at all times.  i don't let people i don't know get to me that much. just laugh it off and share a laugh with your co-workers about it. don't let someone you don't even know ruin your day.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I used to work as a barista in a coffee shop and some people would come in and take all their anger out on me. You should always greet them with a smile and be kind to them and hurry their order so they can leave. Just know they aren't mad at you. hope i helped :)

Kindness is the best way to deal with rude costumers you should just ignore their rudness and win them over with good service because the costumers always right.
